There Are Many More Exciting Websites Out There

A cordial cooperation with the Bach experts Dr. Eberhard Spree (... he is the specialist on the subject "Anna Magdalena Bach") and Dr. Ulrich Kahmann (... he is the expert on the subject "Wilhelm Friedemann Bach") led to an incredible upgrade of the FAQ about Anna Magdalena Bach and the one about Wilhelm Friedemann Bach. It is now finally clarified that there is no picture of Anna Magdalena, and we let our English-speaking website visitors know that. With one click here. And Anna Magdalena neither lived the ten years after Bach's death in poverty, nor did she die impoverished. Together with Gisela Thielicke and the above-mentioned Dr. Kahmann we were able to optimize a second FAQ, that is the one about Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, who was not the "black sheep" he is still considered to be everywhere on the internet and in Brachvogel's fabrication. And in the meantime it has been clearly disproved that this Bach with hat and fur, the so-called "Weitsch painting", does not represent Wilhelm Friedemann Bach 100 percent. Here you get to the English FAQ.

It is late summer 2022 and the latest music calendar has to prove itself for the first time. It is the Luther Calendar, which is printed for the first time in 2022 for the period 2023. How good that we remembered in time that it is the perfect gift also for pastors and reverends. Together with the Pipe Organ Calendar, which is especially suitable as a gift for organists, and now even for both denominations. Of course, you can buy the Luther Calendar also in the German shop. Here you get there.

One hint must not be missing in this corner of the website: It is the web address of Martin Doering's Pipe Organ Website. It is definitely worth a click for pipe organ fans: More than 6,000 pipe organs from more than 80 countries are waiting there: thousands of photos and also pipe organ music. And of course, there's also a super cool offer for anyone interested who speaks German.

During the worst wildfires in California in living memory and during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, further websites were created within our combined Johann Sebastian Bach Mission and the Classic for Children Mission. A total of twelve additional websites were started, matured and finally completed by the end of 2022 in a round 24 months. Firstly, the German flagship site Was ist Klassische Musik?, which presents in great detail what is really ( ! )  understood by Classical Music. Of course, there is the English counterpart entitled What is Classical Music?" Teachers are addressed by a completely alternative pedagogical approach to carefully introduce young people to Classical Music. The Unterrichtsmaterial Klassische Musik consists of 17 parts, is digital and environmentally friendly, and clearly has the mission of offering Classical Music as an entertaining subject. In an English version, the author publisher team hopes to attract even more interest in the U.S. market. The title of the English offering is Teaching Material Classical Music.

Klassische Musik Top 100: After an almost lifelong heart's desire of mine, I finally developed a collection of the Classical Music pieces that you hear so often in commercials, movies and TV series. It didn't exist in this form before. The counterpart for the American market is Classical Music Top 100.  At about the same time, Classical Music for Children was also created, an offer that, contrary to expectations, is not aimed at children, but at parents, grandparents and teachers, who in turn search the internet for ways to present Classical Music to children in a way that is worth listening to. Classical Music for Children is consistently the offer to the above-mentioned group in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia.

Consequently, after addressing children of kindergarten age, the only thing left to do is to "delight" babies with classical music. This "clientele" is served since 2021 the website Klassische Musik für Babys, which even goes one step further. It includes with the recommendations also the time before birth, when babies are already able to perceive music and conversations in the mom's belly. Klassische Musik im Kindergarten is finally the latest offer that covers the time when kids are no longer babies and not yet school children. At the same time, this information is also aimed at educators in daycare centers. The final website, which then really addresses the complete spectrum of those who do not yet like Classical Music, is the offer Klassische Musik für Anfänger und Einsteiger. Sorry, these websites exist in German only.

In our Johann Sebastian Bach Mission, further websites came into being in 2011 and 2012 – at about the same time – all of which are worth a visit: ✓✓
